MI Team Manager

The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team is seeking a MI Team Manager to lead the development and delivery of robust performance management systems. This role ensures top-tier performance against contractual and operational targets and oversees Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI) across Employment, Health, and Justice services, including managing a team of MI Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality MI/BI to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic insights for policy, product development, and tender submissions.
  • Produce accurate, timely performance reports for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., DWP, MoJ, GMCA).
  • Develop and maintain MI tools and dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) for contract and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate, timely data submissions to funders and maintain strong external relationships.
  • Collaborate with Software Development on system enhancements aligned with operational needs.
  • Manage business planning and forecasting systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the MI Analyst team, promoting innovation and high performance.

Skills Required:

  • Experience leading MI/BI in PbR or grant-funded settings with knowledge of funder requirements.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
  • Proficient in PowerBI, SSRS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team development experience.
  • Collaborative and relationship-focused working style.
