Marketing Business Partner
The Growth Company's (GC) GM Business Growth Hub is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Marketing Business Partner.
In this role, you will provide strategic marketing support to The Growth Company’s (GC) GM Business Growth Hub team, focusing on the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing communications and campaign activity, including reporting to various stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, creating, managing, and evaluating multi-channel marketing communications across the marketing mix to position GM Business Growth Hub and wider GC services as the go-to place across the Greater Manchester region and beyond.
- Act as a specialist advisor to service leads within the hub, building effective relationships and ensuring key messages are consistently woven through marketing and wider communications activities.
- Identify and implement strategic marketing campaigns to build the profile of the Hub and its services, especially in Innovation Services and Digital, Creative, and Tech sectors, driving expressions of interest in our services.
- Set and measure KPIs across all digital and non-digital campaigns, providing full insight, evaluation, and continuous improvement across marketing activities.
- Create impactful, targeted multi-channel campaigns that reflect the diverse needs and communication preferences of our audiences, including key stakeholders, clients, customers, and commissioners.
- Manage the development and sourcing of all printed materials and promotional items, including literature, exhibition equipment, promotional items, and similar, while identifying new mechanisms and formats to promote the organisation’s services, especially in the digital space.
- Actively monitor analytics, customer feedback, insight, and sentiment to improve marketing outcomes.
- Create high-quality, engaging content that has impact across a diverse range of communications channels, including website, social media, email, print, and video.
About You
- Proven track record in strategic marketing, especially in Innovation Services and Digital, Creative, and Tech sectors.
- Strong project management skills with experience in stakeholder and supplier management.
- Ability to set and measure KPIs, providing insight and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in creating impactful, targeted multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience in managing the development and sourcing of printed materials and promotional items.
- Proficient in monitoring analytics, customer feedback, insight, and sentiment.
- Ability to create high-quality, engaging content across various communications channels.
- Strong relationship-building skills with service leads and key stakeholders.

- Well-developed IT skills, including management information (MI) systems, spreadsheets, diary management, email, and data security.
- Flexible approach to work, including willingness to travel and occasional unsociable hours.
- Self-motivation and self-confidence.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to challenge.
- Ability to work to KPIs and targets.
- Strong administration skills, including accuracy, numeracy, and literacy.
- Ability to network and promote the organisation.
- Time management and strong organisational skills.
