The Growth Company’s (GC) IT team have an exciting new opportunity for a Lead MS Dynamics 365 Developer, this job role will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and Dataverse. The role involves designing and implementing solutions, whilst collaborating with key stakeholders to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices are followed in development processes.
- Design and architect solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Dataverse to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and customise Microsoft Dynamics applications, including Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Manage and optimise Dataverse environments, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Integrate Microsoft Dynamics solutions with other enterprise systems and third-party applications using APIs, connectors, and custom development.
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
About You:
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and Dataverse.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Strong diligence and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, Typescript, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Direct experience in configuration, customisation, and extension of Dynamics CRM.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer Associate, are highly desirable.
- Substantial prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics development, with a focus on MS Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Previous experience in leadership or team lead role.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues as well as solving business process problems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps.
- In-depth understanding of Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, and Operations).
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for creating custom applications, automating workflows, and generating reports.
