The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team is currently hiring for multiple Inclusion Coordinators to work in our Salford, Tameside and Trafford skills centres. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind tailored support for individuals with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD). You’ll manage a dedicated caseload, champion inclusive practices, and provide expert guidance to colleagues, ensuring every learner could thrive.

The interview process will include a short task and you will be asked a series of competency based questions on the day of your interview.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a mix of remote working and office-based days.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of learners and/or apprentices with EHCPs/LDD, ensuring accurate records and compliance with internal protocols.
- Coordinate onboarding for learners named in EHCPs, including initial meetings with families/carers and responses to Local Authority consultations.
- Develop high-quality Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that support inclusive teaching and learning.
- Monitor caseload activity weekly using Power BI, reporting academic and pastoral interventions.
- Lead EHCP Annual Reviews and 6-weekly IEP Reviews, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.
- Deliver and coordinate targeted academic and pastoral interventions aligned with EHCPs or identified needs.
- Support safeguarding actions and multi-agency interventions in collaboration with Designated Safeguarding Leads. (DSLs).
- Maintain detailed safeguarding records in Cura, including meeting notes and referrals.
- Refer learners for Exam Access Arrangements where appropriate.
- Ensure provision meets standards set by Ofsted, JCQ, Awarding Organisations, and external audits.
About You:
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Communicates confidently and effectively, fostering strong professional relationships with learners, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Displays initiative and adaptability, applying sound judgement and a professional approach to problem-solving and safeguarding practices.
- Committed to inclusive education and the removal of learning barriers, with a sensitive and respectful approach to complex issues.
Skills Required:
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, Cert Ed, DTLLS) with a Level 5+ subject specialism.
- National Award or National Professional Qualification for SEN Coordination (NASENCo/NPQ SENCO) is preferred. however, candidates without this qualification will be offered appropriate training and support to work towards it.
- Comprehensive understanding of SEND frameworks, including the Code of Practice, broad areas of need, and JCQ guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting learners with complex needs, writing IEPs, and leading statutory reviews such as EHCPs and LAC reviews.
- Skilled in multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding procedures, and maintaining audit-ready records using Microsoft Office and MIS platform.
